Coromatic Group owned by E.On Group, has sold its Finnish operations to the current management of Coromatic Oy and the owners of PP-Putki Oy. Employees of both companies will continue as former employees and the companies will continue as separate units so far. Nordic cooperation with Coromatic Group will continue with business within a cooperation frame agreement.
Coromatic Oy and PP-Putki Oy will use the new corporate brand name PCBI. Coromatic Oy will change its name to PCBI Nordic Oy and PP-Putki will be PCBI Oy. Rebranding and name change will not impact our legal information, business ID number or bank information, nor our existing agreements. New corporate brand and website will be updated this summer.
These two well recognized and strong players will merge and focus on building within the infractructure market. Their many years of experience and thorough expertise in critical infrastructure design, product import, project management, contracting and maintenance will form a new kind of business model for the Finnish building market. Our current and future customers are operating mainly in the data center, construction, industrial and public sectors. The forecast of combined turnover of both companies will be approximately EUR 10 million and employ approximately 40 people.
The CEO of both companies Joni Peltola, the previous Managing Director of PP-Putki says: "The merger will create a new type of facility technology expertise for the Finnish market that has not been seen in Finland yet. The new company will challenge the industry's operating methods and create a new kind of more holistic cross vertical service concept for the market. We already have a strong position in the Finnish market and together we will increase this role aggressively.”
Erik Bertman, CEO of the Nordic Coromatic Group, sees only good things about the merge: “The critical facility technology market is slightly different across the Nordic countries. The Coromatic Oy management buyout together with PP-Putki Oy´s owners is an excellent opportynity to develop a strong presence in the Finnish market.
